Associate Client Manager

The Associate Client Manager assists the Business Manager in executing the mutual business goals of Acosta and assigned clients. Under the direction of Business Manager manages the bulk of smaller clients’ responsibilities and supports the Business Managers with key clients.

Responsibilities

Supports Business Partners with key client:

• Down-stream execution tracking.
• Tactical communication.
• As liaison with marketing.
• Key metric tracking.
• Promotion plans.
• Post-promo analysis.
• Development of sales presentations.

Under director of the Business Manager:

• Provides for tactical and strategic client communication for smaller clients.
• Develops and delivers sales presentation for smaller clients.
• Assist in promotion planning, execution tracking and post-promotion analysis for smaller clients.
• Provides marketing analysis and category reviews for smaller clients

Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• 1+ year of Marketing, Sales, or Sales Support experience.

Sales skills: 

• Understanding the sales process, contract paperwork, and client promotions systems.

Presentation skills: 

• Preparation, delivery, and handling questions.

Negotiation skills: 

• Strategy development and tactical technique.

• Marketing/Analytical to include access and interpreting IRI/AC Nielson data, post-promotion analysis, and category management.

Finance: 

• Ability to create profit and volume strategies and understand financial statement.

Logistics: 

• Knowledge of order processing, inventory tracking, client and customer distribution methods.

Physical Requirements 

• Sit for extended periods (typically 6+ hours per day).

• Use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for prolonged periods.

• Lift and carry light items (e.g., files, office supplies, laptops, typically 20+ pounds).

• Reach, bend, or stoop occasionally to access files or office materials.

• Maintain focus and attention for long periods of desk-based work.

• Follow clear directions.

• Perform repetitive motions (e.g., typing, clicking) consistently throughout the day.
