How will you fit into the big picture?
The Associate Manager, Commercial Strategy (CMG) supports the development and execution of commercial growth strategies across the CMG portfolio. This role leverages syndicated data, marketplace insights, retailer performance metrics, and cross-functional collaboration to identify growth opportunities, support category leadership initiatives, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive revenue, share, and profitability. The position serves as a key analytical partner to Sales, Category Management, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams.
What will you do?
• Analyze sales, market share, category, consumer, and retailer performance data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Develop insights and recommendations that support annual planning, customer business reviews, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Build reporting tools, scorecards, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex data into business actions.
• Support assortment, pricing, promotion, shelving, and merchandising analyses to optimize commercial performance.
• Partner with Sales, Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to develop fact-based recommendations.
• Monitor competitive activity and industry trends within the CMG category.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical Responsibilities
• Synthesize multiple data sources including syndicated market data, retailer POS data, consumer insights, and internal performance metrics.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer strategic business questions and evaluate performance drivers.
• Measure effectiveness of promotions, innovation launches, assortment changes, and customer initiatives.
Minimum Education & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial strategy, category management, sales analytics, consumer insights, or related disciplines.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with syndicated data platforms such as Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, or retailer data sources preferred.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $78560 to $98200 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well‑being (as applicable).
