Description
The Assisted Living Server is responsible for providing excellent dining service to residents of an assisted living community. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
Schedule: Part-Time, Weekends, Weekdays, Day Shifts
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist residents with their dining needs, such as cutting food, opening packages, and pouring beverages
- Clear and clean tables after meals
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared correctly and on time
- Interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Report any concerns about residents' health or well-being to the appropriate staff
- Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Food Handlers Certification is required.
- At least one year of experience working in a food service setting
- Strong customer service skills
- Compassion and patience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
