Assistant to Preschool - Plano Campus

Job DetailsJob Location: Plano Campus - Plano, TX 75093Position Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Category: Admin - ClericalProvides administrative support for the Preschool Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”). 

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, ordering office supplies, and other administrative duties
Respond to requests and inquiries from ministry leadership, teachers, members, attendees, and prospects
Compose and distribute correspondence for the ministry
Coordinate with appropriate church staff for the purpose of organizing ministry events
Under the direction of the Minister to Preschool – Plano Campus, compose and create informational letters and brochures for distribution
Acknowledge, receive payments and track acceptances for special events, including parent dedication, Adventure Week, Parents Night Out, etc.
Work closely with the Preschool Ministry team to ensure ministry excellence on Wednesday nights and Sundays
Prepare materials for training
Assist with the preparation for Special Events conducted by the ministry
Ensure volunteer screening process is completed 
Maintain files, training materials, manuals, etc.
Other duties as assigned
QualificationsRequirements:

Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
Some college, college degree preferred
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Supportive team player
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
Notary Public accreditation or willingness to obtain accreditation 
Ability to work a Monday – Friday schedule with occasional Sundays and special events as needed
Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs
