Summary
The Assistant Teacher will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing classroom environment and facilitating daily learning activities. They are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children while fostering their social and emotional development.
Job Description
We are seeking Part-time Closer/Floater Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy in West Des Moines, IA! *must be able to work at least 2-3 hours each day until 6pm*
Hourly wage range: $14.40-$15.75 DOE
*must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm*

Teachers are also eligible for Child Care Assistance with the State of Iowa, which can cover up to 100% of the cost of childcare for those with children who will be attending our schools. More information in the link below.

- Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
- Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
- Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
- Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
- Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
