Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform duties with support and direction from a Project Superintendent and Project Manager
- Measure and document construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications
- Ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Monitor progress of work
- Maintain project records and related documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
- B.S. in Construction Engineering, Building Science, or a related technical area
- Preference given to applicants with a Geotechnical Engineering background and experience
- Preference given to applicants who are interested in continued employment and willing to travel and/or relocate to the LA and TX Gulf Coast region for other large projects
- Proficient in MS Office and the ability to utilize software programs, databases, and templates to process, distribute, and track all project documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented
