Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7am-6pm

Location: Mt. Joy, PA Center-based reporting with the exception of days where non-center client/supervision services are provided, Client/supervision services are provided in the designated setting (e.g., home, community, school, center), Remote work is allowable up to 1 day per week with approval by the Program Director

Travel Required: Some travel for site visits and other BII centers, to the Plymouth Meeting HQ, and other locations for training, meetings and company events.

About Behavior Interventions, Inc. Behavior Interventions was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. We are seeking an Assistant Program Director to support our Ehanced Program in Mt. Joy, PA.

RBT Requirements Coordinator:

Support Program Director with RBT supervision requirements
Participate in RBT Orientation 
Participate in Competency Assessments for Orienting Technicians 
Support Program Supervisor in running RBT monthly meetings as needed

Treatment Center Management:

Provide crisis management support during sessions and general treatment center coverage.
Functions as a Trainer for crisis management in identified centers determined by needs to support center staff with direct crisis management training to support their recertification and remediation requirements
Support with client referrals and staffing of treatment teams
Provide On Call responsibilities, supporting coverage per the annual schedule as a joint responsibility across all centers, compensated by a stipend
Support annual center team goals
Support the management of current treatment center services
Supervise EP Scheduler and provide oversight and support with all scheduling functions as needed
Uphold all Behavior Interventions’ standards, policies and procedures including our equal employment opportunity and anti-harassment policies
Operate as a mandated reporter, maintaining awareness of signs or reports of suspected abuse or neglect and reporting to the appropriate state reporting line
Implement quality control measures while supporting staff to provide exceptional services
Responsible for client referrals and staffing of treatment teams; provide occasional  coverage as needed.

Clinician Support: 

Provide portions of BCBA Orientation and support Program Director with orienting new BCBA/Behavior Consultant Hires
Provide administrative and clinical oversight and support of interns.
Co-run BCBA Monthly Meetings 
Supervision of Behavior Analysts is mainly provided by the Program Director, with support from the Assistant Program Director (e.g., 70% and 30% supervision distribution respectively). Deviations from this proportion may be required determined by center needs and must be approved by the Senior Director of Clinical Services & Operations.
Complete monthly direct observation (according to specific schedule) of Behavior Analysts/Behavior Consultants  providing feedback on performance, ensuring satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols, program development, and supervision of Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technicians. Direct observation includes on-site, live-virtual and recorded sessions, and completes direct observation/site visits,  providing feedback on performance, ensuring satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols, program development, and supervision of Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technicians. Run 1:1 meeting with BCBAs/ Behavior Consultants per identified schedule
Implement strategies to support clinical staff in meeting and exceeding expectations. Strategies include providing feedback, training and coaching on behavior-analytic strategies as appropriate, and implementing performance improvement plans
Utilize the science of behavior-analysis to teach skills to direct reports, their supervisees, and caregivers
Prepare topics, maintains accurate records (ie. agenda/notes), and runs scheduled meetings including: weekly, biweekly or monthly individual supervision with direct reports, monthly team meetings, and other department meetings as assigned.  Co-runs with Program Director monthly BCBA and EP team meetings.
Provide performance feedback for BCBAs/ Behavior Consultants and other direct reports
Implement strategies to support clinical staff in meeting and exceeding expectations. Strategies include providing feedback, training and coaching on behavior-analytic strategies as appropriate, and implementing performance improvement plans.
Support the Program Director, clinical leadership and human resources in employee selection, retention and termination proceedings for Program Specialist, Program Supervisor, Scheduler, Behavior Analyst, Behavior Consultants,  and technician positions for designated office location. Activities include interviewing and selecting candidates, orienting new hires, and participating in decisions relating to disciplinary action.
Responsible for all follow up with BCBAs/Behavior Consultants when included on emails across departments that require action
Responsible for supporting BCBAs in the Restrictive Procedure Assessment and Committee process as designed
Function as a Trainer for staff when trained in “Train the Trainer” contexts related to onsite professional development and offsite R2P events
Attend provider specific meetings to review current client progress and new client availability
Complete clinical-based initiatives/projects 
Support Program Director with evaluations as needed 
Support Program Director with Enhanced Program client intake procedures

BCBA Caseload:

Provide short term coverage as needed on Enhanced Program cases
Maintain a caseload.  Billable hours will be assigned by the Program Director and evaluated by the Senior Director of Clinical Services & Operations and CCSO. These hours may be adjusted based on center-specific needs with approval by the Senior Director of Clinical Services & Operations (e.g., census, leaves, exits, number of BCBA/BC supervisees, etc.). Depending on the size of the caseload other priorities may be temporarily reassigned to other team members. 
Assessment and intervention based science of behavior analysis to support families referred

Maintain administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served, treatment team, employees and organization as a whole.
Engage in professional development activities and supports the professional development of Behavior Interventions’ team members through approved supervision activities.
Provide behavioral assessment and intervention based science of behavior analysis to support families referred.
Engage in professional development activities and supports the professional development of BII team members through approved supervision activities.

Weekend and evening hours required as needed depending on caseload 

QualificationsRequirements:

Master’s degree in education, applied behavior analysis or psychology
Board Certification (BCBA) through the BACB©️
Maintains LBS through the PA Board of Medicine and reports to supervisor and human resources within five days of any certification or licensing status change 
Maintains BCBA credential through the BACB©️, and LBS through the PA Board of Medicine and reports to supervisor and human resources within five days any certification or licensing status change 
Maintains clearances, credentials and certifications as requested by Behavior Interventions and servicing providers
5 years experience with BCBA certification, developing and implementing behavior analytic programs and completing assessments, preferred
3 years supervisory experience preferred
Willingness to travel throughout specified counties for client caseload and site visits when in-person support is deemed clinically appropriate. Site visits may be conducted virtually through live or recorded sessions
1 year experience working with significant challenging behaviors
Maintains PCM certification
Experience with VBMAPP, PEAK, PFA/SBT, AFLS, EFL  preferred
Experience running group meetings and conducting interviews preferred 
Experience creating clinical organizational systems preferred
Experience developing trainings preferred
Experience with PA insurance provider requirements preferred OR willingness to learn
Valid form of ID
Ability to pass federal and state background checks
Must have reliable transportation
