Job Description
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track for all academic levels for a General Anesthesia faculty position in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students the skills and theory of this specialty and clinical activities in the Operating Room.
Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. degree

Four years of training: one year of internship in an accredited internship program and three years of anesthesiology residency.

Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.

Preferred board certification in Anesthesiology or board-eligible status.

Excellent clinical skills.

Simulation teaching would be a great plus.
