About the Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Allen Turner Chevrolet in Crestview. If you are energetic, confident on the phone, enjoy meeting and working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity to grow with our team.

In this role, you’ll help identify and acquire quality vehicles by connecting with private sellers, researching online marketplaces, coordinating appraisals, and supporting the vehicle purchasing process. You’ll have the opportunity to build valuable automotive industry knowledge while working closely with our Vehicle Buyer and management team.

Responsibilities

Search online marketplaces and other sources daily to identify potential vehicle purchase opportunities.

Travel locally throughout the day to locate, evaluate, and assist with the pickup of vehicles for acquisition, including roadside sale vehicles, private-party purchases, and other off-site buying opportunities.

Contact private sellers via phone, text, email, and messaging platforms to gather vehicle information and negotiate appointments.

Build rapport with sellers and provide a professional, customer-focused experience.

Schedule appointments for vehicle appraisals and acquisitions.

Collect and organize vehicle details, including VINs, mileage, condition, photos, and ownership information.

Follow up consistently with leads and maintain communication throughout the acquisition process.

Assist with tracking acquisition activity and maintaining accurate records in dealership systems.

Stay informed on market trends and vehicle values.

Work closely with the Vehicle Buyer and management team to support inventory goals.

Support additional dealership or department duties as needed.

: Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating through text and social media platforms.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of vehicles and automotive terminology preferred, but not required.

Experience in sales, customer service, call center, or automotive environments is a plus.

Proficient with computers, internet research, and mobile apps.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug screen and background/MVR screen.
