Job Summary:
The Assistant Paddle Professional will work with the Director of Racquet Sports throughout the fall/winter season, while teaching and scheduling members for lessons.
Essential Duties/Functions:
Responsible for attendance and billing for juniors, privates and adult lessons.
Proper and timely communication with members.
Teaches paddle to all levels, ages and abilities.
Participate in events at the Club upon request.
Schedule court reservations.
Other duties as assigned for business need.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to problem solve for members.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Maintain professional conduct with members on the court during lessons or general play.
Education and Experience:
Previous paddle teaching experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Light court maintenance; snow shoveling, blowing leaves, etc.
Licenses and Special Requirements:
Certification appreciated but not required.

Pay Rate:
Compensation is Commission, $90 per hour for private lessons.

Members enjoy a variety of racket sports including tennis and paddle tennis. The pool is a very popular member amenity located on the edge of a hill with breathtaking views of Lake Bde Maka Ska and downtown Minneapolis. Winter activities include skeet shooting, cross country skiing, curling, ice skating as well as snow shoe and walking trails for members and their four legged friends.
