Perspire Sauna Studio - Chico

Part-Time | 20-25 Hours/Week | $19–$23/Hour + Commission

Perspire Sauna Studio Chico is looking for a motivated, dependable Assistant Manager to join our team!

This is a growth-based position. You will begin by learning the studio from the ground up as a Sales Associate, working directly with guests and learning our services, memberships, systems, daily operations, and Perspire standards.

As you become confident in the Sales Associate role and demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, initiative, and knowledge of the studio, you will gradually take on additional Assistant Manager responsibilities with opportunities for increased pay as you grow into the position.

Sales Associate Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional guest experience
• Give studio tours and educate guests on Perspire services
• Sell memberships, packages, and retail
• Book appointments and manage guest accounts
• Maintain clean, organized, guest-ready suites
• Complete daily cleaning and studio tasks
• Learn Perspire policies, promotions, systems, and procedures inside and out

Assistant Manager Responsibilities

As you progress in the position, additional responsibilities will include:

• Manage studio towel inventory and towel operations
• Monitor and maintain studio and retail inventory
• Help ensure employees are meeting performance and operational expectations
• Help train, support, and provide direction to team members
• Ensure cleaning, opening/closing, and overall studio standards are consistently followed
• Assist with shift coverage and cover call-outs when needed
• Attend select community markets and outreach events
• Participate in Zoom meetings with Perspire franchise representatives
• Report important information from franchise meetings back to the Owner and General Manager
• Keep the team informed of operational updates, monthly promotions, new procedures, and upcoming franchise changes
• Serve as a point of contact for basic employee questions when management is unavailable
• Proactively identify operational issues and communicate them to management
• Help keep the studio organized, stocked, and running smoothly

Schedule & Compensation

• 20–25 hours per week
• Starting pay: $19/hour + commission
• Opportunity to grow up to $23/hour + commission as additional Assistant Manager responsibilities are earned
• Part-time schedule with some flexibility required
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required for call-out coverage, meetings, and community events

Growth Into the Role

You will not be expected to know everything on day one.

This position is designed for someone who wants to grow into leadership. You will first learn and become confident in the Sales Associate position and demonstrate a strong understanding of Perspire's guest experience, sales expectations, and daily operations.

Assistant Manager responsibilities will then be added gradually as you demonstrate that you are ready to take them on.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just complete a checklist — we want someone who notices what needs to be done and takes action.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with and report directly to the General Manager and Owner.
