Assistant Director for Leadership Philanthropy

Position Summary

This role is intended to help support all campaign and development-related priorities. Duties will include: driving the Dean’s prospect portfolio by preparing his briefings and managing any upcoming campaigns; sharpening the focus on our gift table and top-priority donors; continuing to refine the pipeline through a complete quarterly review of the Dean’s prospects, working in connection with the research team and senior administrators; and working closely with our directors/team on events with a special focus on alumni and trustee engagement, stewardship, and ad hoc projects that advance the mission of our fundraising activities.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Master's DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years relevant professional level experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:• Strong organizational, writing, and event management skills.

• Careful attention to detail.

• Proven ability to problem-solve, adapt quickly, and deal with highly charged situations and individuals sensitively and calmly.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $93,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
