Assistant Coach – High, Long & Triple Jump, Indoor/Outdoor T&F

Working alongside the Director of Track and Field, the Assistant Coach will work with novice through advanced athletes in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump. Responsibilities include leading runway workouts, off-track conditioning, and event-specific drills designed to develop athletes’ technique and performance. All coaches contribute to meet-day operations.

Winter Indoor Season | December 3, 2026 – February 2027

• Approximately 20 hours/week, Monday–Friday
• Practices generally 3:15–5:00 p.m.
• Meets typically Wednesday afternoons, with occasional Saturday meets
• No programming December 18–January 4

Spring Outdoor Season | March 23, 2027 – Third Weekend in May

• Approximately 20–25 hours/week, Monday–Saturday
• Practices generally 3:15–5:00 p.m.
• Home and away meets most Saturdays
• Travel to away competitions required

Flexible seasonal commitment: Candidates may coach both seasons or either the winter or spring season. Please specify your availability and interest in your cover letter.

The strongest applicants will have:

• At least two years of experience coaching vertical and horizontal jumps in a club, high school, or college setting, or equivalent experience.
• High school, college, or higher-level experience competing in vertical and/or horizontal jumps.
• The ability to motivate and inspire high school-aged students and serve as a positive role model.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach to working with the coaching staff.
• Availability for a Monday–Saturday practice and meet schedule, including away meet travel.
