Assistant Coach

The Tennessee Titans are seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders. This role is responsible for leading all stunt training, execution, and collaborating with the Head Coach to choreograph all stunting elements in routines performed at each Titans home game throughout the football season as well as select special events. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cheerleading as well as stunt and tumble training. The position primarily requires availability for weeknight practices and does not require game day attendance.  

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all stunt-related training, technique, and safety protocols.
• Teach, clean, and refine stunts integrated into game-day routines, special events, and auditions.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to ensure stunts are effectively incorporated into choreography.
• Assist in planning and conducting structured weeknight practices.
• Assess individual and group stunt performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Support various Titans Cheerleaders events including Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders Auditions and Junior Titans Cheerleaders.
• Maintain a professional and positive coaching environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements 

Education

• High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of, or in combination with, education.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in coaching stunt teams at the collegiate or professional level preferred
• Strong knowledge of stunt technique, progressions, and safety standards
• Demonstrated quick learner with ability to think on their feet and make effective decisions quickly
• Ability to work well with different personalities
• Strong communication, time-management and organizational skills
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional or flexible hours as needed including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Availability must include weeknights for practices.
  • This role does not have a game day function.
