Job DetailsJob Location: Blackfoot , ID 83221Assemblers are responsible for building Spudnik’s agricultural equipment according to engineering drawings, specifications, and established procedures. They play a critical role in ensuring the fit, function, and quality of finished machines. Assemblers must be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently as part of a production line team while maintaining safety and quality standards.

A successful Assembler consistently demonstrates accountability, safety awareness, and attention to detail while contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble parts, components, and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and configurations before and during assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly tasks.
Identify and communicate missing parts, fit-up issues, or engineering concerns to the Line Manager or Production Control.
Ensure that hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems are correctly routed, secured, and connected when applicable.
Conduct self-inspection of work for completeness, accuracy, and quality prior to moving products to the next stage.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and company safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other departments (Weld, Paint, Fabrication, Engineering, Quality Control) to resolve issues and keep production flowing.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
Support training and development of new team members as assigned.

Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly techniques.
Ability to safely use tools, hoists, and equipment required for the job.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Commitment to quality, efficiency, and accountability in all work performed.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, balancing, and working in varied environmental conditions.

Level 1 (Entry-Level/Foundational): 

Capable and competent in performing tasks, contributing to the team, and focusing on learning and applying foundational skills. 

Works under close guidance and supervision, requiring support for problem-solving and decision-making. 

Completes assigned tasks efficiently but primarily focuses on individual contributions.
