AS727 - Full-Time Monday-Thursday Nanny - Tribeca

Overview

A sweet family of five in Tribeca is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their three children, ages 2, 7, and 10. The schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday, 7:15am-7pm. This is a full-time role over four days- the family is also open to someone who wants to work Friday as well. The two older children are in school full-time, so the role will be primarily caring for the youngest child, but the nanny should be able and willing to care for all three in the evening and on days off from school. The family travels to the Hamptons from the end of June until Labor Day, and the nanny will need to live-in for at least part of the summer. 

Responsibilities

• Accompany the children to and from school as needed
• Plan and engage the children in creative, educational, and developmentally appropriate activities
• Encourage learning, independence, curiosity, and positive social development
• Plan and accompany the children to extracurriculars, outings, and activities
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Children's laundry 
• Keep the children's bedrooms, play areas, nursery, and other shared spaces tidy and well organized throughout the day
• Work collaboratively with a busy stay at home mom to create a cohesive team environment  

Qualifications

• Warm and kind, with a positive attitude 
• Experience caring for multiple children of different developmental stages
• Creative, engaging, and enthusiastic about planning enriching activities
• Calm, dependable, and proactive with excellent judgment
• Comfortable in the kitchen and willing to cook for the children 
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and looking for a long-term position with one family

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Driver's license would be a huge plus but is not required
• The ability to supervise children in the pool 
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally several times per year 
• Willing to stay up-to-date on vaccines, including a yearly flu shot
• Excellent references from previous families

Salary and Benefits

• $40-45/hr.
