Job Description
ARMED Retail Security Guard
Location: Vallejo, CA
Employment Type: Part-Time
Payrate: $28 - $33/hr
Shift Time: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
IPS NATIONWIDE is seeking professional and dependable Armed Retail Security Guards for a high-profile retail location in Vallejo, CA. Guards will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees and customers while delivering strong customer service and professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring store activity and maintaining a visible security presence.
- Responding to incidents, disturbances and suspicious activity
- Completing incident reports and communicating with management as needed
- Assisting with theft deterrence and loss prevention efforts
- Enforcing site policies and procedures professionally
Requirements:
- Active California BSIS Guard Card
- Active California Exposed Firearm Permit
- Valid Government-Issue ID
- Reliable Transportation and Punctuality
- Strong Communication Skills
- Weekend Availability Required
Prior retail security, loss prevention, military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
