We are seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our dynamic APP teams across MSHS. Our APPs are committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and delivering compassionate, safe, high-quality, evidence-based care to the diverse communities we serve.

During this interactive Career Connection, you will have the opportunity to:

In 2022, Mount Sinai Health System launched the Center for Advanced Practice Providers (CAPP) to advance the profession, practice, and contributions of APPs across the Health System. Members of the CAPP team and Recruitment team  will be available to share more about our APP community, resources, and the many ways you can make an impact at Mount Sinai.

• Provide care for patients in collaboration with the physician and within the guidelines mutually agreed upon by clinical and medical administration.

• Assesses patients’ needs and develops plan of care in collaboration with the physician

• Provides health teaching, guidance and counseling 

• Makes appropriate referrals with the concurrence of the physician

Qualifications

APN Requirements:

• Graduation from Accredited relevant APN program

• New York State certificate/license (as applicable including RN license for NPs, CRNAs and Nurse Midwives) 

• National Board Certification

• DEA Licensure

• BLS and ACLS Certification

• Infection Control Certification

Physician Assistant Requirements:

• Graduation from Accredited Physician Assistant Program, Masters preferred

• NCCPA Board Certification

• New York State Licensure

• DEA Licensure

• BLS and ACLS Certification
