Job DetailsJob Location: HD Fowler Company COR - Bellevue, WA 98006Salary Range: $27.00 - $35.00 HourlyHD Fowler Company is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist, who will be responsible for compiling and processing A/P records at our Corporate Offices in Bellevue, Washington.

Responsibilities:

Approve, code and process invoices for payment, cost freight, and issue sales orders.
Code and process overhead invoices.
Process credit memos and issue debit memos.
Credit and debit cost adjustment to inventory and sales.
Balance statements and research payment issues.
Resolve vendor and buyer inquiries and/or discrepancies as they arise.
Maintain a strong relation with internal buyers and external vendors.
Assisting in processing weekly check runs.
Responsible for vendor account maintenance and collection of return credits.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Previous experience in accounting/accounts payable.
10-key by touch
Computer skills, high accuracy, and an eye for detail.
Able to operate within and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Able to interact positively with all types of coworkers and customers.
Able to operate in a high-paced, demanding environment under a variety of conditions.
Able to work overtime when necessary and/or required.
Able to self-guide work prioritization and completion; work independently with little direct supervision.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Basic accounting/bookkeeping educational courses and/or experience.
