Analyst, Business Development - Alternative Channels

The Customer Sales Analyst (CSA) embodies this aspiration perfectly and will be a vital role to help support driving growth in the new Alternative Channels sales area. The CSA will help provide data for sales growth planning, drive communication across customer teams, and help coordinate key meetings and information needs across internal stakeholders.

Additionally, the CSA position ensures key routines are executed with excellence including innovation selling, sales performance tracking, and business performance updates. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure target delivery. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities  

• Help create and maintain key reporting tools and reports for Alternative Channels customers
• Help drive communication and synthesize priorities, projects, and data across Alternative Channels customers
• Assist with new product information, funding, and content needs
• Assist with key internal project meetings between Customer Teams and Business Units
• Utilize sales and consumer data to build help build presentations for both internal and external audiences. 
• Own routines to identify key volume growth drivers and communicating material needs.
• Assist with regular category & business reviews with the field team to affect positive business growth. 
• Ensures that the customer, consumer and category insights are delivered timely, with full data accuracy 
• Be or Grow into a Subject Matter Expert on Story Telling, Visualizations, Data Literacy, or Analytical Process.  
• Work with the Data & Analytics team on a feedback loop of business-critical reporting and tool development.  

Expected Experience & Required Skills 

• Experience with a corporate sales background with knowledge of business processes
• Ability to plan, organize and communicate priorities to leadership 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Proven communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) for both internal & external outputs 
• Experience with Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation is a plus. 
• Strong presentation Skills including Verbal & Written  
• Strong desire to expand capabilities with Circana, Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI
• Adaptability to changing business requirements 
• Self-starter – highly motivated and proactive approach to all task 
• Growth Mindset with Problem Solving Skills and Attention to Detail 

Work Environment & Schedule 

This position is a remote role and with limited travel or visits to external locations

Additionally, this role requires the ability to work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations 

Physical Requirements   

Physical demands include but not limited to 

• Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$77,800.00 - $97,300.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
