Analyst Assistant

Our client is seeking a motivated Analyst Assistant to support the administration of special districts and public agency programs. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, data

1 year experience or internship within analytics

Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)

Prior exposure to SQL, tableau, or python nice to have!

Description

• Assist with the day-to-day administration and financial operations of special districts.
• Support Project Managers and Senior Analysts in completing client requests, special projects, and ongoing administrative functions.
• Help serve as a point of contact for assigned clients by responding to inquiries and providing administrative support.
• Analyze, maintain, and manipulate large and complex datasets while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Learn and support special district financial administration, including database maintenance, financial tracking, and tax and assessment calculations.
• Review and gain familiarity with legislative codes, legal documents, and bond-related materials relevant to special district operations.
• Utilize mapping and geographic information tools to support spatial analysis and district administration activities.
• Identify potential issues, discrepancies, or risks and collaborate with Project Managers to develop solutions.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables.
• Manage and prioritize assigned tasks to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
• Participate in client meetings and provide administrative and analytical support as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while working with a variety of stakeholders, including local government agencies and members of the public.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temecula, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
