Critical Home Repair Family Services Coordinator VISTA

AmeriCorps VISTA members are Volunteers in Service to America who perform indirect service to build capacity and sustainable solutions.

What will you do?
The Critical Home Repair Family Services Coordinator will support the Critical Home Repair (CHR) Family Services team in expanding program reach, strengthening community partnerships, and enhancing engagement initiatives. This role focuses on outreach strategy, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and program evaluation to increase access to services and improve overall program impact. Each new process and tool developed will be well documented and evaluated to ensure sustainability beyond the year of service.

This position will focus on home repair aspects of Habitat affiliate operations.

• Activities and attractions: Our offices and AmeriCorps apartments are less than 15 minutes away from uptown Charlotte, a three hour drive from the beaches of North and South Carolina, and a two hour drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains. In addition, local activities include Carowinds, The US. Whitewater Center, the Mint Museum, and the Charlotte History Museum.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
Applicants must hold one of the following citizenship statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident Aliens or is a person residing in a state that have the following legal residency classifications: refugee, asylum or asylee, temporary protected status, or deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) status. Applicants must be at least 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
