Amazon Merchandising Manager - Remote based in US, Canada or UK

StarTech.com is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Amazon Merchandising Manager to join our dynamic Digital Merchandising team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in driving brand awareness and profitable growth across our product portfolio, specifically targeting IT professionals.

Your expertise in Amazon Vendor and Seller Central will be crucial as you develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan. With a keen understanding of market opportunities and competitor activities, you will be instrumental in positioning our brand for success in the highly competitive digital marketplace.

What you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing on Go-to-Market Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on data driven go-to-market plans, driving global growth across your product portfolio from business customers.
• Delivering Global Revenue Growth: Monitor revenue performance across 1P & 3P accounts, prioritising actions-based revenue, through expertly deploying merchandising actions to improve visibility and conversion.
• Launching and Developing New Products: Set new products up for success using your category and Amazon expertise to provide inputs across the launch process. Identify brand aligned portfolio gaps with interesting revenue potential for new product development.
• Elevating Campaign Performance: Partnering with the Amazon Advertising Manager to develop sophisticated targeting strategies, optimizing traffic and conversion rates at the ASIN level for maximum impact.
• Ensuring Strategic Alignment: Working closely with Category Management, Supply Chain, Pricing, Marketing and Content Delivery teams to align efforts and execute strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Staying at the Forefront of Industry Trends: Keeping up with the latest industry practices and emerging tools to enhance ASIN performance and maintain a competitive edge.
• Prioritizing High-Impact Initiatives: Focus daily efforts on executing tasks that offer the greatest financial returns, ensuring that the largest opportunities are always addressed.
• Managing Vendor Account Relations: Working closely with internal teams at Amazon to effective resolve issues and drive value for money through the SVS service.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Amazon merchandising with a proven track record of driving results.
• Proactive mindset demonstrated by the ability to spot opportunities and take initiatives to drive growth.
• Data-driven decision making. You can quickly extract insights from data and use this to take effective merchandising actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across various teams and influence collaborative efforts within the organization.
• Experience with Helium 10, Smartscout or similar insights tools, with expertise in keyword research and market analysis.
• Expert in conversion and LLM optimisation across the product display page.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate data and create actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Working experience using AI tools such as Claude.
• Experience selling into the PC or Electronics category is desirable, but not essential.  
• Knowledge of Amazon business and targeting business customers on Amazon.
• Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) is desirable, with a good understanding of campaign optimizations.
