POSITION OVERVIEW

South Seas is seeking an experienced AM Breakfast Restaurant Supervisor to support daily breakfast and lunch operations at Beach House. This full-time leadership position is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong restaurant experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the pace, preparation, and service standards required for a successful breakfast operation.

The AM Breakfast Restaurant Supervisor will work alongside the restaurant management team to oversee daily front-of-house operations, support and direct team members, maintain exceptional guest service standards, and help ensure smooth service from opening through the lunch shift.

Previous breakfast restaurant experience is required.

POSITION DETAILS:

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Shift: Breakfast & Lunch
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule Requirement: 5 days per week with open availability, including weekends and holidays

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing daily breakfast and lunch restaurant operations at Beach House.
• Ensure the restaurant is properly prepared and ready for opening and breakfast service each morning.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to front-of-house team members throughout the shift.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, specials, service expectations, and operational updates.
• Monitor guest service and ensure South Seas hospitality and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with assigning sections, side work, opening duties, and other daily responsibilities.
• Maintain strong floor presence during peak breakfast and lunch periods.
• Support the team during high-volume service and assist wherever needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Address guest questions, concerns, and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with culinary and restaurant leadership to ensure effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, presentation, and overall readiness.
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing restaurant team members.
• Ensure team members follow established policies, procedures, safety standards, and food-handling requirements.
• Assist restaurant management with daily operational needs and other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Previous restaurant supervisory, lead, or similar leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, resort, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be dependable and able to consistently report for 6:00 AM opening shifts.
• Open availability required, including weekends and holidays.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
• Must be 18 years old or older to hold this role, serving/selling alcohol in state of FL
• Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State regulations)

 WORKING CONDITIONS – PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, up to 40 pounds
• Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity.
• Flexible schedule: days and times may vary based on need including weekends and/or holidays.
