| Position Summary |
Position Overview This is an on-call, event/building attendant position with flexible scheduling and is not benefits-eligible. Hours will vary based on event needs and will primarily include evenings and weekends. The UNM Alumni Association is seeking a personable, reliable, and highly motivated individual to serve as an ambassador for both the organization and the University. Key Responsibilities · Oversee events at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center and the Alumni Memorial Chapel · Open and close facilities and remain onsite during scheduled events · Serve as the on-site host, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for clients and guests · Coordinate with vendors and assist with event logistics, including basic A/V setup and troubleshooting · Provide excellent customer service and act as the primary point of contact during events · Ensure facility use aligns with university policies and event guidelines Minimum Qualifications · Strong customer service and communication skills · Ability to work evenings and weekends · Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented · Ability to work independently and manage event responsibilities Additional Requirements · Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move event-related equipment as needed |

Less than high school; no previous experience required. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
