Starting Salary Range:  $15.68-$19.03 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Responsible for the provision of equitable access to digital course content for students with disabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Requires an Associate's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.
• Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Position details include but are not limited to:

• Perform conversion of required learning materials for students with disabilities into alternative formats using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software, word processing software, and Braille translation software. 
• Prepare standard print material of inaccessible digital content (such as lecture slides, problem sets, lecture notes, textbooks, and journal articles) to convert into various output formats, dependent upon types of source materials and student-specific disability-related accommodations. 
• Import diagrams, charts, and graphics into photo editing software and create accurate graphical reproductions that may be converted into tactile graphics. 
• Provide support in the review and preparation of instructional materials, including eBooks, videos, linked websites, and online publisher learning tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing in complex organization systems, such as information management databases, local network drive folders, email inboxes, and online drives. 
• Communicate consistently with the Access Services staff in order to ensure students receive remediated course materials in a timely manner. 
• Remain knowledgeable of current industry best practices to establish and implement adaptive technology solutions and recommend updates.
• Define and solve logical challenges for technical applications to produce documents that accurately convey learning content and meet the needs of the students.
