Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour

Requirements 

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public access points, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate professionally with airport personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
