Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid- 2 days onsite & 3 days remote
in a week)
Durations: 10 months Contract-to-Hire

What
We're Looking For:

• We are seeking an Operational AI governance
  professional who can bridge governance and technology. This person
  will own the day-to-day mechanics of AI governance, including maintaining
  the inventory of AI and agent solutions, tracking controls and evidence,
  processing intake, validating data, identity, connector and privacy
  requirements, monitoring usage, cost and control thresholds, and producing
  governance reporting.
• The right candidate understands controls and
  risk but is also technically curious and comfortable working directly
  with teams building AI solutions. This person will help establish the
  guardrails that allow the organization to move quickly with AI while
  maintaining visibility, security, accountability, and control.

Position
Overview:

• We are seeking an AI Governance & Controls
  Analyst to help operationalize and mature an enterprise AI governance
  program as the organization expands its use of Generative AI, copilots,
  and agentic solutions.
• This is not a traditional compliance-only
  position. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of AI
  governance, controls, risk, and data protection with enough technical
  depth to understand how modern AI and agentic solutions are built and
  deployed.
• The role will work closely with AI engineering,
  security, data governance, architecture, and business teams to help ensure
  AI solutions are appropriately inventoried, assessed, controlled,
  monitored, and governed throughout their lifecycle.

Key
Responsibilities:

• Help operate and continuously improve enterprise
  AI and agent governance processes.
• Maintain an authoritative inventory of AI and
  agentic solutions, including ownership, purpose, data sources, connectors,
  risk classification, controls, and review requirements.
• Support AI intake and assessment processes from
  initial request through design, build, testing, deployment, monitoring,
  review, and retirement.
• Evaluate solutions against requirements involving
  data classification, identity, connectors, privacy, security, human
  approval, and appropriate AI usage.
• Perform and coordinate DLP, connector, and
  access-control reviews.
• Monitor AI control, usage, cost, and value
  metrics and identify exceptions or potential control issues.
• Develop governance dashboards, reporting,
  documentation, procedures, and control evidence.
• Support AI control testing, audit readiness, and
  periodic attestations.
• Work directly with engineering and business teams
  to help them understand and meet AI governance requirements.
• Support the development of an enterprise AI
  asset management/inventory capability.

Desired
Experience:

• Experience with AI governance, Responsible AI,
  technology risk, security governance, data governance, or technology
  controls.
• Understanding of Generative AI, copilots, and
  agentic AI concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio and/or other enterprise AI platforms.
• Understanding of DLP, data classification,
  identity/access management, connectors, privacy, and security controls.
• Experience maintaining technology inventories,
  governance evidence, risk assessments, or control documentation.
• Ability to develop dashboards, metrics, and
  exception reporting from operational data.
• Exposure to low-code development, AI workflows,
  or agent development is highly desirable.
• Experience working across Security, Privacy, Data
  Governance, Architecture, Engineering, and Audit teams.

Exposure to platforms such as Microsoft Copilot,
ServiceNow, SAP, or similar enterprise technologies is a plus
