About the Role 

You write copy that sounds right for the brand and gives people a reason to care. You also know how to join a fan conversation: when a thoughtful reply adds something, when humour fits, and when an issue needs escalating. This is a hands-on role owning the relationship between a brand and its community through strong copy and thoughtful engagement. 

Storm is an AI-native agency. AI tools and agentic workflows are central to how our teams work, and we hire people who want to work that way from day one. 

AI-first doesn't mean AI-generated. The work itself is craft: finding the right angle, shaping a line and responding with judgment. You direct agents through Codex, using reusable skills and context libraries of brand voice, source material and editorial examples to produce copy variants, edit working documents and run structured checks. You catch the bland line, unsupported claim or reply that misses the mood, and make it better. Your editorial judgment stays in charge of every word. 

You'll learn the ground first: what we make and the bar it has to hit. Social copy that earns attention. Community replies that make the brand feel like part of the fandom. Then you'll work from Storm's stack of AI and creative tools, and play a real part in improving how this work gets done.

What You Will Do

• Write engaging, on-brand social copy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube and other relevant platforms, with AI tools and agentic workflows as your default way of working. 
• Review and refine social copy for clarity, accuracy and audience fit, adapting each piece to its platform and purpose. 
• Learn each brand's voice, audience and subject matter deeply enough to judge when AI output fits. Maintain and evolve tone-of-voice guidance, source context and examples that people and agents can use consistently. 
• Fact-check against supplied sources and proofread everything you deliver, including anything AI touched. Check names, claims, grammar, punctuation, links, accessibility and platform-native formatting; treat rights and brand safety as fixed points. 
• Pitch social content angles and approaches that improve engagement and visibility. Apply copywriting best practice, using performance signals and feedback to improve attention, reach and the quality of the writing. 
• Engage communities day to day: respond to comments and join relevant conversations on fan, talent and partner content. Keep replies timely, appropriate and consistent with the brand's personality and engagement approach. 
• Stay close to culture, fandom, trends and platform developments. Surface timely engagement opportunities that suit the audience, and feed what you learn from conversations back into copy and content ideas. 
• Use agents for repeatable work such as preparing copy variants, checking against source material and summarising community themes. Review their work critically, make the editorial decisions and keep useful records for clear handovers. 
• Prioritise deadlines and responsive community work, balance a shared workload with colleagues across time zones, and adapt constructively to feedback and changing priorities. 
• Keep improving how the work gets done: encode your best methods into reusable skills and workflows that agents and teammates can pick up and run, and teach what works so the whole team levels up with you. Test new capabilities against real briefs, compare the results with your current approach, and update shared methods when they improve quality or reliability. 

Success means distinctive, accurate copy; timely community responses that fit the conversation; and improvements that reduce avoidable revisions and help teammates deliver consistently. You can show what your methods changed, using examples, feedback and useful measures. 

What We Are Looking For

• Excellent written English and a strong editorial ear. Your writing shows precision, range, personality and an ability to adapt tone without losing clarity. 
• Community judgment: you understand fan behaviour, can write a natural response and recognise when to engage, pause or escalate. You bring a real interest in TV, film and online culture. 
• Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI agents in work, study or personal projects. You can show how you build context, direct production and checks, reject weak output and improve the result. You have examples beyond asking a chatbot for ideas. 
• Confidence working with editorial documents, social platforms and AI tools. You may bring a traditional copy background with a developed AI practice, or have built your craft using AI from the start. Either path works here. 
• Sound fact-checking and accessibility knowledge, with the attention to detail to hold the quality bar at speed. You can explain the choices behind your copy and replies. 
• A systems mindset and ownership: you spot repeatable work, improve it and follow through. You can demonstrate a reusable method and explain how you help someone else use it successfully. 
• Clear communication, reliable organisation and thoughtful asynchronous handovers. You share work well, respond to feedback and learn new tools with an eye for what improves the result.

You’ll work with a supported AI stack, shared context and reusable skills, backed by our AI Operations team. You’ll build on established tools and methods, contribute improvements, and help colleagues put them into practice.

Team-based
Join an international, remote-first team of 175+ people who value skill, initiative and collaboration. You work closely with copy and account colleagues and contribute to a shared quality bar. 

Flexibility
You work 37.5 hours per week within a 9am–5:30pm Pacific Time schedule, Monday–Friday, collaborating with colleagues across time zones. 

Recruitment Process

Apply with your CV, a short note explaining your fit for the role, and writing samples or a portfolio. Samples are required; personal projects count. Social copy and community-response examples are especially useful. 

Shortlisted applicants complete self-recorded video questions and a short, time-boxed copy and community practical task as one screening stage. 

If successful, you'll meet Tania Pardisi, Senior Copy Manager, and Nicola Taghizadeh, Chief Creative Officer, together for an interview. We'll discuss your work, your approach to community relationships and your experience using AI, and answer your questions about the role and team.
