AGLOW Guest Services Associate - Seasonal

Join the South Carolina Aquarium team for a fun, short-term gig during our dazzling Aquarium Aglow event. This is a 7-week seasonal position perfect for college students, gig workers, or anyone looking to earn extra cash in a festive, fast-paced environment.

Quick Highlights:

📅 Evening shifts from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. on select nights in November and December

🎉 Guaranteed days off: November 26 (Thanksgiving), December 24 & 25 (Christmas)

🎄 Full availability required between December 16 – December 31

👕 Aquarium provides uniform shirts and outerwear

❄️ This is an outdoor position during winter months—dress warmly and bring your holiday spirit!

💵 $200 bonus after completing your final scheduled shift in good employment standing

What You’ll Do:

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and help them navigate the Aquarium Aglow experience
• Sell and scan tickets, answer questions, and provide top-notch customer service
• Operate fun guest experiences like golf cart rides (valid driver’s license required)
• Assist with crowd flow, safety, and end-of-night breakdown

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, outgoing individuals who enjoy working with people 
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service is a plus
• Must be available weekends and days around the holidays during evening hours
• Comfortable working outdoors in winter weather
• Team players who are flexible, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
