Aggression Replacement Training Facilitator for Youth in Allegheny County

Adelphoi is looking for a casual A.R.T. Facilitator for Community-Based A.R.T. cycles in Allegheny County. Aggression Replacement Training is a 10-week program consisting of a 3-hour session each week. The sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm. The program is located at the CISP center in Wilkinsburg, PA. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co facilitation of scheduled sessions with other A.R.T. facilitators. 
• Completion of necessary intake paperwork with assigned youth. 
• Maintenance of all progress records, including weekly and monthly reports. 
• Communication with placing juvenile probation officer in regard to progress of youth, including absences from the group. 
• Communication with family members concerning progress of youth. 
• Rescheduling of sessions in the event of cancellation due to weather or other circumstances. 
• Continual assessment of program implementation and effectiveness in order to make any necessary adjustments to delivery of service. 

Requirements: 

• Currently a trained A.R.T. Facilitator preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, and have the ability to pass all pre-employment clearances/screenings/background checks
