Afternoon Assistant Teacher

Free Nights and Weekends!!! Great positions for college students, seniors in high school or applicants learning the field of ECE! 
Required Availability: 3 PM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday
Compensation: $15.50 - $20 /hr based on position, responsibilities and experience

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children
• Assist in communicating with parents about their child’s progress and activities
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
• Clean surfaces and put away toys and materials at the end of the day

Qualifications:

• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Works productively without supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
