After-School Caregiver – Wilmington, MA 

A family in Wilmington, MA 01887 is seeking an engaging, reliable, and attentive caregiver to provide after-school supervision and care for their two children (ages 12 and 8) who both have special needs. This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. 

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• 9 hours per week
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Family Specifications:

• Four cats in the home
• Smoke-free home

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive after-school care and supervision for two children with special needs
• Engage the children in safe, age-appropriate activities
• Provide occasional transportation to local children's activities
• Support daily evening routines and maintain a safe, nurturing environment

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certified
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in a home with pets

Preferred:

• CNA experience
• Basic knowledge of tracheostomy care (training will be provided)

Compensation:

• $25–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
