Job Details: Job Location: Center Industries Company Legal Address - Wichita, KS, Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00Hourly, Aerospace Manufacturing Planner

Shift- 1st 7am - 3:30pm

Starting Salary Range- $30 - $35 per hour with three scheduled increases the first year.

SUMMARY:

Develops and plans the manufacturing sequence for production involving machining, assembly and kitting to support contractual requirements and other obligations for the Customer. 

Responsibilities include interpreting CAD files and blueprints to build comprehensive manufacturing work instructions and BOMs within the MRP system. Will routinely update customer forecasts, manage rework instructions via NCR dispositions, and ensure all planning documentation is organized and compliant with industry regulations.  Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings/CAD files and customer specifications to create a BOM (bill of material)
Enter customer orders and schedules into MRP/APS system for new statements of work
Update customer forecasts routinely
Collaborate with internal support departments for best practices
Creates new manufacturing plans, Bills of Material, work instructions, etc for new statements of work
Develop, implement and maintain manufacturing plans to support on time delivery to customers
Ensure all production processes meet customer regulatory and quality standards
Creates rework instructions based on rework dispositions from quality department via NCR
Ensure all process plans and documentation adhere to industry standards like AS9100 and other aviation regulations.
Keep ALL planning paperwork organized

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

3 years prior planning experience preferred in aerospace/aircraft machine shop
High school diploma or equivalent
