About the Role:Hoosick Regional Emergency Medical Services is looking for a dedicated and skilled Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to join our life-saving team in Hoosick Falls, NY. Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing advanced pre-hospital medical care to patients
• Perform AEMT-level interventions including IV/IO access, advanced airway management, and medication administration
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate treatment protocols
• Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities while maintaining continuous monitoring and care
• Accurately document patient care reports (PCRs) in compliance with agency and state standards
• Collaborate with paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement, and hospital staff on scene
• Maintain readiness of equipment, vehicles, and medical supplies in accordance with agency protocols

Requirements:

• Current New York State AEMT certification in good standing
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; emergency vehicle operation experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under high-pressure emergency conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver patients and equipment as required by the role
