Do you have a passion for helping people experience life change, and would you enjoy seeing that evidenced through a weekly meeting of classes and recovery groups that foster relational, emotional, and spiritual growth?
Are you very organized and love planning, scheduling, and tending to details?
Do you have a love for discipleship ministries and love seeing people get connected with a vibrant community that will help them grow spiritually?
Our ideal candidate for this 12-hour-a-week adjunct role is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives on getting tasks done with excellence. This person will provide general support across all aspects of our Aurora Campus Adult Ministries. This person will play an active role in getting people connected to community groups, support and recovery groups, and Rooted, where they can do life with others within the church while growing spiritually.

Beginning with a group of six families in 1984, Christ Community Church has grown to over 5000 weekend attenders, including our DeKalb Campus in DeKalb County, our Aurora Campus in southern Kane County, and our Streamwood Campus in Cook County. A significant focus on reaching spiritually lost people has resulted in over 200 new believers being baptized each year. Christ Community had humble beginnings with services held in a rented movie theater. Weekly activities now take place in our 100,000 square foot St. Charles Campus with weekend celebration services held in our 2000 seat auditorium.
Jim Nicodem has been the senior pastor of Christ Community Church since its birth in 1984. Born and raised in the Midwest, Jim received his BA from Wheaton College, and his MDiv and DMin from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Jim is passionate about prayer and is the author of Prayer Coach, For All Who Want to Get Off the Bench and Onto the Praying Field.
