ilearn wellness group is seeking a LICSW, LMHC, LCSW, or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our growing Adolescent PHP/IOP program in Newton, MA.

ilearn wellness group is an affiliate of LearnWell, drawing on more than 26 years of experience supporting young people and families across behavioral health and educational settings.
Our Adolescent PHP/IOP provides structured behavioral health treatment for adolescents who need a higher level of support while remaining connected to their families and communities.
What You'll Do
Lead Therapeutic Groups: Facilitate groups using DBT, CBT, ACT, social skills, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and coping-skills interventions.
Case Management & Intake: Conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, support discharge planning, and coordinate with families and outside providers.
Provide Clinical Support: Help adolescents develop safety plans, coping strategies, and skills to successfully transition to their next level of care.
Collaborate: Work alongside psychiatrists, clinicians, nurses, technicians, families, schools, and community providers.
Clinical Documentation: Complete assessments, treatment plans, clinical notes, and other required documentation accurately and on time.

Position at a Glance
Pay: $40–$42/hour
10-Month Option (September–June): Approx. $69,000–$73,000 + benefits
12-Month Option (Year-Round): Approx. $83,000–$87,000 + benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8AM–5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Massachusetts LICSW, LMHC, LCSW, or Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field
Mental health experience required
Experience with children and/or adolescents strongly preferred
PHP, IOP, inpatient, residential, therapeutic school, school-based, or other higher-acuity experience is a plus
Strong group facilitation, communication, documentation, and clinical skills
LearnWell is specialized and dedicated to supporting the 49% of all students who may face an underlying mental health condition—such as depression, anxiety or other mood disorders—which often manifest in self-destructive behavior, substance use, and eating disorders. In partnership with treatment facilities and school districts, we provide an integrated set of academic and mental wellness services for students and their families throughout the continuum of care. As students begin to show signs of emerging mental health needs, our psychiatric counseling teams provide therapeutic support for schools to help reduce the risk of hospitalization or other crises. When students are hospitalized, our educators provide a specialized approach to supporting the academic progress for those receiving mental health treatment. Upon discharge from the hospital, we provide the ongoing mental health counseling and one-to-one academic tutoring for students as they re-integrate back into the classroom environment.
