Administrative Assistant / Managed Care / PRN

Summary of Performance Expectations:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Value-Based Care, and Managed Care related departmental activities. This position assists with maintaining records and documentation, preparing reports and materials, coordinating communications and meetings, data entry, tracking assigned activities, and supporting departmental workflows and special projects related to care management, contracting, and credentialing.  The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with departmental staff and other internal and external stakeholders to support efficient day-to-day operations and departmental priorities.

Education & Credentials:

Required

High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer application skills.

Preferred

Associate degree or formal technical/vocational education in business, healthcare, or a related field. Experience or training in Microsoft Office applications and healthcare information systems preferred.

Work Experience:

Required

No experience required. Given training and on-the job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within three months of employment date.
