GENERAL PURPOSE
The Career Center serves the Molloy Community with comprehensive career development. The Center offers extensive services in exploring, preparing and connecting students for future and continued success. The purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the Director and staff of the Career Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet student/employers; answer phones and record messages; maintain office supplies, the Career Closet and overall daily administrative functions of the Career Center.
- Maintain Handshake database; assist students and employers with accessing Handshake.
- Assist with tracking of expenses against budget.
- Represent and assist the Career Center at University Events and Workshops.
- Assist with the creation and publication of promotional materials.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of work related experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT
- Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $22.00. This hourly rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
