Adjunct Instructor - School of Natural Resources and the Environment

The Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty to support the Davis College’s academic School of Natural Resources and the Environment. Appointments are on a semester-by-semester basis with varying instructional needs depending on course enrollments and faculty availability. Review of applications occurs on an as-needed basis. The School of Natural Resources and the Environment includes the following academic programs: 1) Environmental, Energy and Land Management; 2) Environmental, Soil and Water Sciences; 3) Forest Resources and Conservation; 4) Wildlife and Fisheries Resources.

• A graduate degree relevant to the course(s) taught is required at the time of appointment; a doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and teach undergraduate and/or graduate students.
• Experience with student-centered instruction, inclusive pedagogy, and/or experiential learning approaches is desirable.

• Professional experience in applied settings relevant to the course(s) taught is preferred.
