Indiana Tech is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Adjunct Faculty Member to join our online engineering program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and inspire students in a virtual learning environment .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching courses as needed.
Maintain academic records of courses to assist in specialized accreditation.
Collaborate with other degree programs on campus outside of computer engineering.
Support efforts to increase access and success in higher education for underrepresented populations.
Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field is required.
College-level teaching experience required.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population.
Demonstrated evidence of strong written and oral communication.
Experience with a Learning Management System.
Applicants should be able to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical classroom/office environment and synchronous or asynchronous online environment.  Scheduling must be flexible to accommodate early morning, evening.
