The Advanced HEAlth Data (AHEAD) Research Institute at Saint Louis University is a comprehensive center for data-driven innovation and research aimed at improving the health of individuals and populations.
The AHEAD Institute brings together researchers from various fields and disciplines to help improve patient and population health, advance the quality of health care and decrease health care costs. Our team develops, stores, and manages health data resources and utlizes novel analytic methods, predictive modeling, and machine learning to investigate health outcomes across diverse diseases and populations. The AHEAD Institute offers research support services for faculty in study design, methodology, analysis, and reporting results in health-related research.
As a member of the Health Care Systems Research Network, the AHEAD Institute manages the Virtual Data Warehouse for the SSM Health system and collaborates in multi-site health system research.
