Job Title: Attended Donation Center (ADC) Representative

Location: 10676 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33913

Employment Type: Part Time / Hourly / 3-Days 

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking an Attended Donation Center Representative to receive, record, and sort donations while following the Kaizen system and established processing guidelines. This position works to meet or exceed production goals, improve productivity, and maintain clean and safe work areas. The role also supports donation collection, merchandising, customer service, store maintenance, and other operational needs as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet donors and customers with a friendly, helpful attitude and assist donors with removing donations from their vehicles.
• Issue donation receipts and provide Goodwill brochures to donors.
• Receive, record, and sort donations according to the Kaizen system, including RAW/Salvage sorting, labeling, and established processing guidelines.
• Sort donations into the appropriate bins, hoppers, trailers, or designated locations and assist truck drivers with removing containers from trailers and store locations.
• Meet or exceed production goals by hanging soft-line merchandise, processing hard-line merchandise, and accurately recording production using rack count sheets and tally sheets.
• Support continuous process improvement and follow all established production standards.
• Complete Kaizen 5-minute drills and maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, including donation centers, trailers, workstations, and surrounding areas.
• Move rolling racks and hoppers to the sales floor and merchandise products according to color, category, pricing, and inventory rotation guidelines.
• Properly sort, process, and place pulls, salvage, and recyclable commodities into designated containers, hoppers, Gaylords, totes, or other assigned locations.
• Maintain a positive attitude when working with customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Support the company safety program and perform all duties in accordance with safety requirements.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas of the production process, including merchandising, cleaning, fixture and equipment support, and other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to use stairs.

• Sufficient mobility to turn, lean, kneel, and bend while performing duties in the backroom and on the sales floor.

• Ability to perform basic math.

• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, including heat.

• Good communication skills.

• Good judgment, patience, and understanding.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
