The Activity Therapist evaluates and administers therapy to patients in accordance with goals provided in the treatment plan.  Evaluation and therapy programs are developed through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient’s life.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in relevant field is required. Minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting. Appropriate certification in Occupational Therapy or Recreation Therapy is required.
