Job Summary: 

The Activity Club Instructor is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children during program hours.  The Activity Club Leader will develop the club on the basis of area of interest , which would include but not be limited to ;Chess Club, Math Club , Photography Club, Language Club, STEM Club, Building Club

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Safety

• Engage children in the developmentally appropriate area curriculum for children ages 8- 11 years (depending on facility policy).
• Maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Engagement & Interaction

• Organize and lead age-appropriate activities for the programs enrolled in 
• Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere among children.
• Provide an engaging and fun experience for those enrolled in the Specialty Clubs

Parent & Staff Communication

• Greet parents/guardians, manage check-in and check-out procedures.
• Communicate any concerns, behavioral issues, or incidents promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other staff to support child care program standards.

Facility Support

• Sanitize equipment and play areas regularly in compliance with health standards.
• Monitor supply inventory and inform supervisor of needs.
• Follow all facility policies, licensing regulations, and COVID-19 safety protocols if applicable.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Childhood Education , Foreign Language ,Science Education, Recreation degrees preferred 
• Proven Experience and success in the area of interest
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Skills & Competencies

• Friendly, patient, and attentive with strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple children with varying needs and energy levels.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
