Arthur Murray Dance Center of Temple is looking for a passionate and energetic Ballroom Dance Instructor to join our team in Temple, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to turn your love of coaching, active movement, customer service, social interaction, and/or dance into a rewarding career while transforming students' lives one step at a time. Whether you're a seasoned dancer, a natural teacher, or looking to try something new, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Teach private and group ballroom dance lessons to students of all ages, primarily adults, and skill levels
- Instruct a variety of dance styles including Two-Step, Waltz, Swing, Salsa, and more
- Develop personalized lesson plans to help students meet their individual dance goals
- Track student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback
- Participate in studio showcases, social dances, and special events
- Build strong relationships with students to ensure retention and satisfaction
- Maintain a positive, high-energy studio environment that motivates students
Requirements:
- Prior dance experience preferred, but not necessary
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for teaching
- Ability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate student schedules
- Outgoing, patient, and motivating personality with a student-first attitude
- Willingness to complete Arthur Murray instructor training and certification program
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Sales-minded approach to help students commit to their dance journey
