Job Summary (Purpose):
To secure, develop and improve the relationship with assigned ACE National Account customers by protecting AmeriGas from competitive threats and expanding our market share and revenue. Expand the ACE National Account customer base through opportunity mining, sales and marketing efforts and laser focus on growing comparable sales year over year.

Key Characteristics:

•    The ability to negotiate and build long-term business relationships and sell to mid and senior-level executives and business owners.
•    Current working experience successfully selling consumer products within the CPG industry to major national retailers.
•    Proficient at working cross functionally at AmeriGas to co-develop propane exchange solutions for existing and new propane exchange customers that generates exceptional revenue & profit and secures long term relationships with our business partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Business acumen is a must as this candidate must be highly proficient in educating our business partners with AmeriGas’ strong value proposition plus ability to defend AmeriGas’ market share every day by consulting with a high degree of product and industry expertise 
•    Grow AmeriGas’ market share, revenue and profit with assigned accounts by building and successfully executing strategic account plans 
•    Build customer satisfaction by effectively managing assigned accounts, conducting recurring bi-weekly/monthly calls + quarterly/bi-annual in person meetings with key customer business partners, communicating & collaborating regularly with AmeriGas field operations.
•    Strong problem solving skills critical to this role
•    Understands AmeriGas propane exchange strategic plans and establishes goals for each account to meet or exceed annual sales targets. 
•    Attends key customer tradeshows as well as industry functions to better position AmeriGas in the marketplace and develop new sales opportunities.
•    Customer/Shopper Marketing experience required to ensure we drive trips and build customer engagement with our customers

Education and Experience Required:

•    BA or BS degree
•    Minimum of 5 - 7 years sales experience, sales management or national account management
•    Consumer product experience required

Working conditions:
•    Requires travel, ~30%
•    Home office based; role can be based anywhere near a major airport

The pay for this position ranges from $113,000 to $134,000 per year, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
