To strengthen our motivated Finance Team in Puerto Rico, we are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Specialist for a three-month contract assignment.

The Financial Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing financial processes, with a focus on expense analysis, and financial reporting. This position ensures efficient payment processing, vendor management, and compliance with internal controls while also analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance workflow efficiencies.

Your Role

• You will resolve “3-way match” disagreements on a weekly basis
• You will participate in share service initiatives
• You will manage tie financial deadlines
• You will develop automated accounting or financial excel applications
• You will assist in preparing journal entries
• You will do monthly closing and balance sheet reconciliation
• You will assist performing budget and cost analysis
• You will prepare financial performance analysis reports

Your Profile

• You are bilingual.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as account payable and finance, accounting experience.
• You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing ERP systems.
• You have month-end close experience.
• You have hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as Open Accounts, Radius, or similar financial platforms.
• You possess advanced Excel skills and are comfortable analyzing data, preparing reports, and supporting financial operations.
• You are technology-driven and able to leverage automation and digital tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting processes.
