Summary
The accountant will assist with month-end close processes, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial reports. They will also support quarterly reporting, perform intercompany analysis, and assist with internal, external, and SOX audits.
Job Description
Job Title: Accountant – Branch Financial Accounting
Duration: 5 months with possibility of extension
Schedule: Hybrid (alternating 5 days in-office / 5 days remote)
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheet analysis and monthly financial reports
- Support quarterly reporting and data inquiries
- Perform intercompany analysis and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audit requests (internal, SOX, external)
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
Skills
- Ability to learn ERP systems quickly
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and collaborate
