Account Specialist Print-Remote

The Account Specialist Print team plays a critical role in supporting contract-based print customers by delivering exceptional service, managing complex print programs, and driving profitable sales growth. Working closely with Sales, Implementations, Sourcing, Print Support, and Suppliers, this team is dedicated to providing a seamless customer experience while identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support long-term customer retention and growth. 

Role Summary

As an Account Specialist Print, you will be responsible for supporting and growing profitable print sales by serving as a trusted partner to both internal and external customers. This role manages transactional and programmatic print business, coordinates multiple customer projects simultaneously, and ensures customers receive accurate, timely, and solution-focused support throughout the entire order lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Sourcing, Print Support, Implementations, and external suppliers while helping drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and sales growth. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage transactional and programmatic custom print projects, customer orders, and replenishment programs.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for print customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the order lifecycle.
• Develop and present profitable customer quotes while maintaining targeted margin expectations.
• Manage a pipeline of print opportunities and convert requests into sales while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Sales, Sourcing, Print Support, Suppliers, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Resolve customer issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Communicate proactively with customers during quoting, proofing, production, fulfillment, and delivery stages.
• Analyze reports and performance metrics to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve operational efficiency, and support customer retention.
• Maintain accurate customer records, project details, and business intelligence documentation.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements that streamline operations and enhance customer service.
• Support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to customer engagement, win rates, service levels, and sales performance.
• Negotiate sales margins and work with suppliers when appropriate to support both customer and business objectives.

What's Needed - Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant print, digital copy, customer service, sales, or project management experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Professional telephone and customer communication skills.
• Strong written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships and tailor communication to a variety of customers and stakeholders.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. 

What's Needed - Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
• Experience supporting print services, print production, or print-related business operations.
• Strong computer and web-based systems skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong project coordination abilities.
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional business teams.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service levels and accuracy

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
